It really is easy to place an ad on NM Ads. There is a Place an ad button located on the top of every page. Simply click on it and it will forward you to the twelve main categories. Choose the one that suits your ad best and then choose the sub category. Fill in the form and then press the submit button. Shortly after submitting an ad, you will receive a confirmation email with your password and reference number. You will need these details later when you want to repost, edit or delete your ad.
How long does it take to receive a confirmation email after posting an ad?
You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours after submitting an ad. If you are using Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL etc. email accounts, please, check your junk mail because these emails are directed there sometimes.
How do I Edit/ Repost/ Delete my ad?
You can find the Edit/Del an ad button on the top of every page. Remember, you'll have to use the same email address that you registered with us in the first place; otherwise you won’t be able to log in. Then you'll need your password as a proof of identity. Once logged in, you can edit/delete/repost your ad. It will be updated after a short delay.
There is a Forgot password button if you somehow have forgotten it.
Can I place a link for another web site on my ad?
Yes, you can.
How long it will take for the ad to appear on the site?
It will take between 3-4 hours on average for the ad to appear online; sometimes longer in the evenings and the weekends.
I posted an ad 4 hours ago but can’t see it online.

If you can not see it online after this period, please, make sure you are searching in the right category. If you still can not find it, the ad is probably removed oar deleted, because it does not conform to our posting policies.

How long will the ad stay online?
You can choose one of the two types of ads: permanent or temporary. If you want your ad to stay permanently on the site, you’ll have to tick the 'Permanent Ad' box on the submitting form and your ad will be reposted every 30 days. The temporary ads (when you don’t tick the box on the submitting form) stay on the site for 30 days and then will be removed, but not deleted. You will have access to the ad trough your account if you want to repost it.
I want to hide my email address but then how will the visitors contact me?
On the submitting form you’ll find the ‘Do not show my e-mail address’ box ticked. We set this up for your own safety and convenience. In this case visitors can contact you trough our email form. You can choose to show your email address, which we don’t recommend for safety reasons.
I want to post an ad, but every time I submit, I'm getting 'incorrect price' response.
The price field only recognises numbers. Make sure you don’t type any other characters or spaces; otherwise they will be interpreted as incorrect.
For example, if you want the price ?300 to appear, just type 300.
I posted an ad for selling my tickets but don't see it on the site.
It is illegal to resell concert and rail tickets, also tickets for professional football matches, in England and Wales. We therefore do not allow any adverts for the sale of such tickets to be posted on NM Ads. |
